Fine Arts

Life Way Christian School recognizes that God has blessed the students with many different talents, and it is our goal to help the students discover and develop those talents. To achieve this goal, we provide opportunities in the area of fine arts for students to creatively use their abilities for the enjoyment of those around them and, more importantly, to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. From our preschool program all the way to twelfth grade, the students grow with a joy and passion for the arts.

Band and Orchestra - Under the leadership of Mrs. Sullivan, whose passion for the instruments is obvious, our fourth grade students are introduced to beginning orchestra. The following year our fifth graders are able to be active in beginner band. From that point, the instrumental music continues to manifest the talents of the students which the Lord has gifted them with.

Choir - Mr. Marney and Mrs. Dake joyfully lead the students in praise and worship in grades preschool through the twelfth. The students sing songs that tell the story of God's mercy and grace.

Drama - Mrs. Wingard puts the backdrop of life in our students in grades sixth through twelfth. Through her yearly productions and oral communciations skills, she teaches the students the confidence to bring out their inner beauty of speech.

Visual Arts - The school has two art teachers, Mrs. Darby and Mrs. Marney, that paint on the hearts of their students. The pallets that they offer open the talents of their students with the brush. Mrs. Marney teaches kindergarten through the fifth grade; Mrs. Darby teaches the sixth through the twelfth.
