The Life Way preschool program is designed to develop in each student social and spiritual strengths, gross and fine motor skills, as well as number and letter recognition. Students are encouraged to develop their communications skills, as well as everyday life skills. God's truth is biblically integrated into each area taught. The curriculum incorporates lessons that promote comprehension and interaction. The desired overall learning experience focuses on understanding material and developing a love for Jesus Christ and for learning. Life Way Preschool considers it a privilege to partner with parents to instill a clear understanding of who God is and His love for His children as well as in preparing them for kindergarten.
Preschool children will get the opportunity to attend extracurricular activities such as chapel, recess, music, and library. Students will also perform in two programs during the year in which parents are invited to attend (Thanksgiving and End of Year).
Your child will be placed in a class based on when his/her birthday falls in conjunction with the state cutoff of August 1st.
Here is the breakdown of how the classes are grouped:
Pre-K2 (2.5-3 year olds)-must be 2.5 years old by the start of the school year
Pre-K3 (3-4 year olds)-must be 3 by August 1st
Pre-K4 (4-5 year olds)-must be 4 by August 1st
The school day is from 8:00-3:00 for all preschool students. You have the option to attend Monday-Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Tuesday/Thursday.
Our program runs on the traditional school calendar of August-May. We do offer early care drop-off from 7:00-7:25 and after-care from 3:00-5:30 for an additional cost.
